Professor Haitao Shi was awarded Sea Turtle Warrior by Wildlife Rescue.

In November 2019, Professor Shi Haitao was awarded the Sea Turtle Warrior by WildAid. The award recognizes the outstanding contribution made by Shi Haitao and his team to the conservation of sea turtles and the promotion of science, and is one of only four recipients of the award. The award was presented by the international organization WildAid.
