At the request of the IUCN Chelonians Specialist Group, we have provided the The Illustrated Catalogue of Chinese Trade Chelonians Retrieval to 120 countries around the world to assist in the identification and training of law enforcement in wildlife conservation around the world
At the request of the IUCN Chelonians Specialist Group (TSA), we provided 350 copies of the IUCN Chelonians Atlas for distribution to TSA members around the world
Due to the need of CITES website, the English electronic version of The Illustrated Catalogue of Chinese Trade Chelonians Retrieval has been available for free to all member countries and individuals to download from CITES website since 2013
Our Centre help some law enforcement units to identify species
Professor Shi Haitao is a member of the National Scientific Committee for Endangered Species, as well as a member of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Beijing Municipal Scientific Committee for Endangered Species. In recent years, he has conducted dozens of law enforcement appraisals of chelonians for the relevant bureaus and stations in Beijing and many of its districts
