The 4th China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition was held in Deyang City, Sichuan Province from 30th November to 2nd December, 2018, in which 590 outstanding volunteer service projects competed for the awards through public evaluation and roadshow defence. The "Turtle Homeward Bound" turtle protection volunteer project under the guidance of the team won the Gold Award (the highest honour for volunteer service in China) at the 4th China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition.
