On 8th November 2020, Professor Shi Haitao was invited by "2020-Green Free Trade Port and the Sixth South China Sea Sea Turtle Conservation and Reintroduction Public Welfare Activity" to give a presentation on "Sea Turtle Status and Threat Factors" at the Lecture Hall of the 2nd floor of Tian Jiabing Building, Hainan Normal University.

More than 500 people attended the event, including Secretary Xia Fei of Hainan Forestry Bureau, Director Cheng Gujing of Wenchang Tonggu Ling Protected Area Management Office, Director Liu Yunteng of Sansha Marine Protected Area Management Bureau, Dou Yanqun and Chen Jingjun, vice presidents of Hainan Marine Environmental Protection Association, and entrepreneurs, associations, and university students.

Professor Shi Haitao was invited to give a presentation on "Status and Threat Factors of Sea Turtles".
