Professor Wang Jichao gave an academic presentation at the second phase of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD)

On 7th December 2022, the China Corner was opened to the participants of the second phase of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) in Montreal, Canada. During the meeting, the China Corner featured a total of 26 side events on different topics to share China's experience in biodiversity conservation through a variety of presentations. Among them, a side event on "Tropical Rainforest National Park Construction and Biodiversity Conservation in Hainan, China" was held in the China Corner. Professor Wang Jichao was invited to participate in the second phase of the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) to give a presentation on the list of priority species for conservation in Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park. He shared the progress of important research work on biodiversity conservation in Hainan's tropical rainforests, and showed the representatives of international organizations and institutions the fruitful results of biodiversity conservation in Hainan's tropical rainforest national parks, so that the world can further understand and know more about Hainan.
