The 15th National Symposium on Wildlife Ecology and Resource Conservation was held from November 17th to 20th, 2019 in Haikou, Hainan Province. The meeting was jointly organized by the Animal Ecology Committee of the Ecological Society of China, the Veterinary Branch of the Zoological Society of China, the Science and Technology Committee of the China Wildlife Conservation Association, the International Zoological Society and the Zoological Society of Hainan Province; it was hosted by the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education for Tropical Island Ecology (Hainan Normal University), the School of Life Sciences of Hainan Normal University, and the School of Animal Ecology and Conservation Biology, the Key Laboratory of Animal Ecology and Conservation Biology, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The symposium was attended by 112 organizations from China and nearly 570 representatives engaged in wildlife ecology and resource conservation. Our Center's teachers and students participated in hosting the meeting as important members of the School of Life Sciences of Hainan Normal University.
