Xinhua: China-U.S. Green Partnership Adds New Member - Hainan Normal University to Implement Sea Turtle Conservation Project with 911 International Turtle Rescue in the U.S.

On 24 June 2015, Xinhua reported that six pairs of Chinese and American institutions held a signing ceremony during the conference to announce that they have joined the China-US Green Partnership to jointly promote cooperation between the two countries in areas such as energy and environmental protection. Among the six pairs of partners, Hainan Normal University will work with the US-based 911 International Sea Turtle Rescue to implement sea turtle conservation projects. The signing ceremony was attended by Wang Xiaotao, deputy director of China's National Development and Reform Commission, and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kathleen Novelli. The programme aims to encourage local governments, enterprises and academic institutions in China and the United States to strengthen cooperation in related fields.


Hainan Normal University will collaborate with the 9/11 International Turtle Rescue Organization in the United States to implement a turtle conservation project
