8 June 2021 is the 14th National Ocean Awareness Day. Early in the morning, students from the School of Life Sciences of Hainan Normal University were replacing seawater and feeding sea turtles with food that meets their dietary habits to ensure the normal growth of sea turtles. The Turtle Rescue Station currently rescues nearly 100 sea turtles of all kinds and has also trained thousands of volunteers. The trading of hawksbill turtle products poses a serious threat to sea turtles and is also illegal. In recent years, Hainan Province has carried out a lot of marine conservation activities and lectures to bring marine activities into schools and people's lives. The students of Hainan Normal University have been contributing to the protection of marine life from their own perspectives.
