According to the report, in the afternoon of 10th February, Haikou Yanhai Coastal Police Station received a police report from the public that their own fishing nets in Dongzhai Harbor Yanhai Village seaside salvaged an injured sea turtle. After receiving the police, the police immediately went to the scene. It is known that the sea turtle was found for the national level of protection of animals eretmochelys imbricata, its right front paw broken, its eyes bleed, its mental state is not good when it was found. In this regard, the police station contacted the Hainan Normal University Wildlife Rescue Centre Li Bo teacher to carry out professional rescue, and asked the rescue centre staff to come to the police station will be injured turtles taken away rescue. It is said that the sea turtle was sent to the rescue centre, Li Bo immediately organised staff to disinfect the injured sea turtle, conducting a visual inspection and weighing it. Due to the poor mental state of the sea turtle, it has been temporarily placed in the appropriate size of the pool to recuperate.
